This lightweight hand forged utility knife is made from Sheffield made 01 tool steel clad with wrought iron salvaged from a historic cart wheel. it is paired with the best prime English burr elm hardwood, with a chamfered stainless steel cap.

the blade is forged thin and tapered to the tip, the spine aesthetic chamfered geomentry, the blade has a forged satin finish, the bevels have been meticulously stones polished using high quality natural whetstones to bring out the detail of the wrought iron and contrast between the wrought iron and high carbon steel.

Please note

This knife has a soft spot where the wrought iron is on the edge around 7mm long, this knife is priced accordingly.

the wrought iron cladding oxidizes quickly so requires extra care to keep the mirror polish, rust and marking can be avoided by cleaning right after use, not cutting high acidic foods like lemons and limes and kept dry when not in use and coated with food grade oil when not in use for extended period of time.
