30cm euro slicer Knife

This Euro style slicer knife is a large workhorse, it is hand forged from a billet of Sheffield made high carbon 1084 steel, it is forged with a medium spine with a gradual taper to a thin sub 1mm tip. The bevels are stone polished using fine natural British whetstones, the last stone was a Maughton whetstone giving it a "misty mirror" finish. The ergonomically shaped handle is made from leadwood a very hard and dense exotic hardwood that is paired with a chamfered brass cap.
